What is a Community First Responder?

     

Alveley Community First Responders, or CFRs are volunteers who are trained by the West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) to a nationally recognised level and provide life saving treatment like CPR, defibrillation and other life saving techniques for various emergency situations, prior to the arrival of the nearest available emergency ambulance, to people in their local rural communities.






Alveley CFR's are trained by West Midlands Ambulance Service to a nationally recognised standard.
